Based on the article above,an Avril Lavigne Concert scheduled for later tis month in Malaysia has been cancelled amid complaints that the show by the Canadian rock singer is “too sexy” and they said Avril lavigne would promote the wrong values ahead of Malaysia’s Independence day.

And here are some of my views about the cancelled of the Avril lavigne’s concert.Why the muslim opposition party wants to cancelled Avril lavigne’s concert?Why should the government listen to the muslim opposition party?What kind of reson given?Why need to ban Avril?She did not teach the young people to road protest,she did not teach us to be narrow minded and she did not teach us to be a racist and why they Ban Her?

One situation i really dont understand is what is the relevant between the Merdeka day celebration with the Avril Lavigne concert?Yes! i knew, there will many programs to celebrate the Merdeka Days which always the same every year and they should know what to do before that and not just cancelled the concert as well.Secondly, why the minister said that the concert is organised in the wrong time?Even this month is the Malaysian independence day but the concert are not be affected.Thirdly, why shold malysia’s rulling government listen to the muslim?They are just a oppostion part but they are not government.

Besides that, Concert organizer in this country should know which artists are acceptable before booking them for concerts. It’s not fair to ask artists to change their act abide by this type of rules,they might get hurt alsoThat said Avril will moves sexy but i think sexy is fine and normal for everyone.

So in my conclusion, government should not cancelled the concert just because of the Muslim opposition party member who say No.

KL, M'sia - M'sia on Tuesday canceled a concert by Canadian rock singer Avril Lavigne, saying it may taint the Muslim-majority country's independence day celebrations after the Islamic opposition slammed her show as being "too sexy."

The Arts, Culture and Heritage Ministry said it had decided not to permit Lavigne's show because it was unsuitable to Malaysian culture and could not be held on Aug. 29, two days ahead of independence day.

"It is not timely. It's not in the good spirit of our National Day. If we go ahead with the concert, it is contrary to what we are preparing for," said Shukran Ibrahim, a senior official from the culture ministry's department that vets all foreign artists.

The decision came after the youth wing of a fundamentalist opposition party, the Pan-Malaysian Islamic Party, called for the show's cancellation.

Kamarulzaman Mohamed, a party youth official, told The Associated Press on Monday that Lavigne's show was "considered too sexy for us" and would promote the wrong values just before independence day.(too sexy for us? think thats only for bab*es?)

"We don't want our people, our teenagers, influenced by their performance. We want clean artists, artists that are good role models," he said.

Code of ethics for performers in Kuala Lumpur?

There are eight rules for artistes who want to perform in M'sia :

1. No jumping, screaming and throwing items to audiences or vice versa;

2. No dance moves or using words that have sexual connotations, including kissing audiences or any similar act.

3. Don't act or say things that are meant to single out any community or religion, which may affect the political stand and stability of the country;

4. Don't perform without clothes or remove clothes, be it shirts or pants;

5. Female performers have to cover up from the chest to below the knees. Male artistes have to cover up from chest to knees. They have to look neat and clean throughout the performance.

6.Performance has to be clean and should not have vulgar, dirty or crude stories, lyrics and any language against Malaysian values, law and the Rukun Negara;

7. Every show or performance has to adhere to the date and place, as stated in the licence;

8. Promoters and licence holders have to give priority to the safety of its audience and general surroundings, at all times.

Volleyball Farewell Party n Happy Birthday to Yu Ying

yesterday was my volleyball club's farewell party, v organized it at mizi shabu shabu ( feel sorry to ee leng bcuz he only join SC n VOlleyball club but 2 farewell party held at the same place). thanx for seniors who attend the farewell party n members who help to make the party success. haiz, cant play a fool with ee leng n boon khai.. wan use their gossip as the title de mar but they dun1 play.. sad. however, another gossip was spearded by them, Hxxx Jxx n Yx Yxxx. hahahaha, n so ACCIDENTALLY the next day of farewell party will be Yx Yxxx birthday, so v plan to celebrate with her, n Hxxx Jxx, u untung la!!! haha, his duty was taking the cake to Yx Yxxx. n that cake was TIRAMISU ( i need u). hahahaha.. so SWEET ler the cake.. today was our SC club MP, our president KAI WEN had book place in Mizi Shabu-shabu, Bukit Tinggi. it is a comfortable place for eating. every1 seems to be enjoying the MP, every1 chit-chat, talk gossip, talk cock, .... thanx for those seniors who attend the MP n juniors too, jiunn yi n qi jia oso help us to carry juniors go there too. A Lawatan Sambil Belajar to 8TV

-_-lll i dunno wat i gain from this lawatan... reali meaningless to go there n back to skool, im not blaming members of penyiaran n pengguna who r in-charge with this lawatan, but im juz wan to say out a few point about this lawatan n the 8TV there. first, their service: since v had make appointment that 3pm v will arrive there n they should come to sambut us, however, when v were arrived,there is no one come to served us / take us go around in 8TV, v spend almost 30 minutes at the outside of elevator.. wat the xxxx. 2nd, bus is not allowed to go in the car park there!!n we were so unlucky bcuz there was raining during our trip!! i dunno y bus is disallowed to go in.. but this reali cause alot of problem to the visitors esp during raining day. 3rd: the studio is small... mayb i couldnt n shouldnt complain anything bout this bcuz this is about COST, juz like my house is small but i cannot complain anything bout it ( im satisfied with my living style ok!!).

well, this lawatan is organized by penyiaran n pengguna clubs, however, AJK of pengguna they dunno wat is their tugas n the schedule of the trip, mayb there is sum misunderstanding happened between the members of both club so causes such a problem.. i hope next time the activity v organize will have a better system (every1 knows their jobs n schedule)..
